This forum grew out of discussions we had and are having at the School of Mathematics (http://thewe.net/math). Please read the principles of study at the school. This forum is some sort of external manifestation of the school, and we extend an open invitation to all people interested in these aspects of mathematical studies.
Basically, post anything that comes to mind. Feel free to experiment. Let's just make sure we try to give simple examples and not use too much math symbolism. Try to ask your questions in a way that would be as accessible as possible. And if someone posts something that you don't understand, please respond and say so. This way the discussions will naturally balance themselves to being properly accessible.
